I had the tri tip and chicken, both were tasty. I loved the spicy BBQ sauce it had just the right amount of heat.

Pretty darn good. Pulled pork was tasty. The size of the meal was a little small my only gripe. 4.5 out of 5

Friendly service although we waited a bit for our food. Not a ton of flavor on the Cobb salad chicken. Wings were good! Mac n cheese was yummy but could use some more cheddar flavor (personal preference).

Oh my gosh this place is amazing. My favorites were the tri tip and Mac and cheese, but it was all fantastic. We be eating here again.... And again and again.

The food is regularly well prepared and delicious, staff members hands out awesome service. I like the cleanliness and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Holy moly this place was really good. Won't forget to mention our server, She was awesome, an all star!. The food was outstanding. I recommend the chicken wings appetizer! The three meats are all good, couldn't even finish it all. The Mac and cheese is excellent, I was very impressed. Sweet tea was tasty as well.

We ordered this for our office! The food was absolutely incredible. We lived in Houston, TX for several years and this food was up there with the best of them. Never would have thought this kind of BBQ was in Eagle, ID! Ribs were incredible!

This place is awesome. Walk up to the window to order. Really tasty, awesome sauces. Friendly owners and staff! Yummy bacon Mac and Cheese! I had their original pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw on it. Yummy!

Just had the half St Louis rack with sides and the ribs were in my top 5 all-time experiences. Perfectly smoked and seasoned. I've been craving good ribs for a bit and I'm very glad to have found this gem.

Food was good. Meat was flavorful, moist and delicious. The sandwich was large, bbq sauce was tangy, and service at the take out window was efficient.

We got take out and tried an assortment of meats and sides. We did not try the pulled pork which is apparently what they are known for. Being from Texas, we know good BBQ and unfortunately this was not good BBQ. The meat had a lot of flavor, it was just a bad flavor. And it was all way too tough and chewy. We actually ended up feeding quite a bit to the dog. Would like to say something good about their pulled pork but I doubt I'll get the courage to go back.

Hands down, best BBQ in the Treasure Valley. Trish and Joel are fantastic and really passionate about quality food. You can't go wrong with whatever you order, everything is excellent. Do yourself a favor and run (don't walk) to BP tonight! (Unless it's Sunday, they're not open on Sunday).

The food is excellent. It takes a little while to get to your table but it's worth the wait.

The food is to die for! I have a sweetooth and absolutely loved the bread pudding. Can't wait to go back!

I have lunch here faily often and the food and service has always been amazing especially our usual server Tiffany. She is incredible at her job and always super friendly and professional! I highly reccomend this place if you love bbq!

We’ve been to Bodacious Pig many time and always stuck with the tri tip sandwich, which is amazing. We’ve usually had good food and good service. Today I tried the smoked chicken salad at the take-out window. The good; fresh fruit, nuts, and greens. The balsamic was also yummy. The bad; so little blue cheese I could count the crumbles and chicken was terrible. It was clearly not smoked; no flavor, no seasoning, and ice cold. I didn’t even eat the chicken, it was that bad. If you’re charging $12.49 for a takeout salad at least provide quality. I gave it three stars because my husband loved his tri tip sandwich and beans.

If you want some of the BEST BBQ, you have to stop in & eat here. Joel & Trisha are two of the nicest people youll ever meet. Great food, beautiful restaurant. Thank you . See you soon! Carrell & larry

It has become a family tradition to get Bodacious once a week. The Oink Oink burger is hands down the best burger I have ever had, top it with some fry sauce (which is also the best) or BBQ sauce and it's easy to see why. The portions are generous, and the price is fair when you consider the quality that goes into making their food.If you end up waiting for a bit, just know it's because this isn't fast food, this is wholesome food that deserves to be appreciated.

After reading reviews and seeing all the rave about this place, we were disappointed. The food and service were average. No flavor at all that is worth mentioning. BBQ sauce was good but you shouldn’t have to use it to make the meat tasty. We are more than willing to spend the $70 on food again but it would have to be worth it for a return visit.

One of the better BBQ places around. A warning that the “juice” served with the pulled pork is actually a vinegar sauce would be nice, but the pork is good. The trip tip definitely had some chew to it but was pretty flavorful. The ribs were good and soft, but had almost no flavor from the rub. I tried adding some of their signature sauce but it tastes like KC Masterpiece so I wasn’t a fan. The beans were better than most other BBQ places but I think they were undercooked because they still had a “pop” to them when you chew. Coleslaw wasn’t bad, it just didn’t have enough sauce on it.

Love this place! Fantastic food. Dine in and service is also the best! We have been coming here since they opened and NEVER have been disappointed. I am a Georgia girl..and this is good BBQ. I could drink the sauces...

The ribs were cooked perfectly. The sauce had a heavy smoke flavor that we had not had before, so.... The beans were just beans. May have had too much liquid and needed seasoning. The potato salad was just potato salad needing pickles and celery. The mac and cheese was just mac and cheese.

Delicious food and excellent service! My husband ordered the barbecue pulled pork sandwich, I had a side of sweet potato fries, and we shared the large pulled pork nachos - all were amazing! The barbecue sauce was so yummy and their pork was so tender and full of flavor. And we left with leftovers! 🙌 We will definitely be back!

Good food, but not quite worth the $25+ per head cost. Although, they have great wings and THE best BBQ sauce in town!

First bbq place that I have liked the sausage. The flavors are very good and the staff is very attentive. Portions could be a little bigger for the price but maybe I'm just a piggy. :)

We decided to sample a lot of the menu. EVERYTHING we ate was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The ribs had a great smoke ring, juicy and very little fat. So succulent. The Sloppy Joe paired with onion rings was great! The best onion ring/sauce I've ever tried. The 'Bodacious Fry Sauce' has some good fire to it. Save room for dessert as the bread pudding and peach cobbler was magnificent.

Best smoked ribs ever. 14hrs cooked to perfection. Great service and classy atmosphere. Really good!!!

Truly was a great experience. The service was excellent and the people are great. The barbecue is very good I tried all the Smoked Meats. Great quality stuff! Will definitely go back.

Good for a quick afternoon lunch. I had the nachos with pulled pork and I will say the serving was HUGE! However, some of the pork was very dry, not all of it, but enough for me to be somewhat disappointed. My husband had a burger and was disappointed by the size of it when compared to some others we've had here at Grit, Rembrandt's and Kit's Riverside Cafe in Horseshoe Bend...the Bodacious Pig burger was definitely smaller. However, it was tasty and done to perfection. The server was super engaging and friendly, very attentive to our needs and did everything right to make up for the small food disappointments. We will go back but try something different this time, don't like to make a final judgement on the place when it offers more items than the ones I've mentioned here.

Good BBQ and friendly service. They have a nice outdoor patio with shade and fans. Dinning at the restaurant is a better food experience than getting take out.

I have eaten there twice and frankly speaking I dont see what all the hype is about. Hopefully I won't ever have to go back.

Great food, great service. We had 12 people from Europe visiting Boise. A great local spot.

We were visiting family in Boise and they suggested we go to the Bodacious Pig. Very good barbecue. I had the ribs and my wife had the trick tip. Both were as good as it gets. Also loved their sauce. You also need to order the mac n cheese as it is very very good. If you are still hungry after the main course try the breast pudding. The serving is enough for two. Highly recommend .

Ribs are amazing. Everything else we ordered was excellent! Order at the counter and it’s prepared right there for you.

Great food and great service. However, we were shocked when they charged us 0.25cents for a Tbs of mayo and on top of this 2.5% charge for using our debit card!!!!! Wow who does that? We did tip our waitress 20% because she was so nice but we will not return and will share our experience with our friends. What a shame to be so greedy, the food is so good!

Hands down one of the best BBQ places in the valley! Always great to get a delicious lunch from here. The pulled pork is a classic.

My husband and I really enjoyed our sandwiches - he had the pulled pork and I had the tri tip. Their BBQ sauce is delicious. It tastes like the BBQ sauce we used to get from a place in Texas. I couldn't resist purchasing a bottle to take home.
